The recording itself is hard for an adjudicator to use. A certified transcript puts every word on paper, marks who is speaking, and carries a signed statement that it is complete and accurate.
A verbatim transcript, meaning every word as spoken, including repetitions and false starts, with speakers identified, times marked, and any part that genuinely cannot be heard marked as inaudible rather than guessed. It comes as a PDF with a signed certificate of accuracy.

$1.49 per audio minute for a certified verbatim transcript. Rush delivery within 24 hours is 1.5x. The minimum order is $35.00. You pay for the actual length of the recording, and we confirm the exact figure before we start.
Recordings that are not in English need a translation as well; we quote that separately once we know the language. Very poor audio (phone speaker, distant voices) can carry a surcharge, which we only quote after listening.
Recordings are commonly submitted, but whether and how to use one is a question for your attorney or accredited representative. What we provide is the transcript: a complete, certified written record of what the recording says.
Tell us the language when you ask for a quote. A certified translation requires a translator who is competent in both languages, so we confirm we can certify your language before you pay anything. If we cannot, we will tell you so straight away.
