Some courts only accept transcripts produced by their own official reporter or an approved transcriber for certain purposes, such as an appeal record. Check with the clerk what your court requires. We are happy to tell you exactly what our certification says before you order.
$1.49 per audio minute for a certified verbatim transcript. Rush delivery within 24 hours is 1.5x. The minimum order is $35.00. You pay for the actual length of the recording, and we confirm the exact figure before we start.
Recordings that are not in English need a translation as well; we quote that separately once we know the language. Very poor audio (phone speaker, distant voices) can carry a surcharge, which we only quote after listening.
It depends on the court and the purpose. Some require their own official transcriber for appeal records. Ask the clerk what they accept. Our transcripts carry a signed certification of accuracy, and we will send you its exact wording on request.
