Immigration court recordings often arrive as .a00 files, which ordinary media players will not open. Send them as you received them. We handle the conversion, and we will tell you if the export looks incomplete, for example if only one segment of a longer hearing was included.
Where the hearing was interpreted, the English on the record is transcribed verbatim. Transcribing and translating the non-English portions is a separate service, quoted once we know the language.
$1.49 per audio minute for a certified verbatim transcript. Rush delivery within 24 hours is 1.5x. The minimum order is $35.00. You pay for the actual length of the recording, and we confirm the exact figure before we start.
Recordings that are not in English need a translation as well; we quote that separately once we know the language. Very poor audio (phone speaker, distant voices) can carry a surcharge, which we only quote after listening.
